Creative Intent

Creative Intent is a small, evolving initiative born to bring modern design and innovative sounds to music production. Since the inception of their first product, Seize Digital has steered the company’s brand identity: from logo, to business cards and presentation decks, to user interface design for the full product line and web design across three iterations. Our partnership has been strong since the beginning, and grows to this day.

Remnant / Grain Delay

The latest software release designed by Seize Digital was an audio plugin called Remnant. Remnant is a digital grain delay effect designed for dense, experimental soundscapes and sharp, stuttering glitches. Remnant fills an analogue tape-inspired delay line with its input signal while two independent grain engines, operating in parallel, draw fragments of sound from the delay line. The two engines feedback both into themselves and into each other, creating concentrated and constantly varying patterns in time and in space. Remnant also features a fully vector, resizable interface that pushes the boundaries of traditional audio plugin design.

Tantrum / Phase Distortion

Tantrum, a new take on digital distortion plugins, is born from the same unique phase distortion as in Temper, but has grown into a far more powerful, dynamic sound. Tantrum features two distortion stages. First, a wave shaping stage, featuring five classic curve shapes from soft tape saturation to aggressive foldback distortion. Next, a completely redesigned phase modulation distortion, taking the original input signal through a stereo delay to modulate the phase of the distorted signal, bringing new subtlety to “warmth” and new aggression to “overdrive.” Finally, Tantrum offers a gorgeous interface with reactive and interactive visualizations to help you get to the sound you need.

Temper / Free Distortion

Temper was the first release and is really what put Creative Intent and Seize Digital on the map in the audio plugin niche. Temper is a modern digital distortion plugin featuring a rich saturation stage and a unique phase distortion. Use the variable saturation curve to add warmth and edge to your sound, and let the phase distortion bring character and clarity through your mix. Temper also features a simple resonant lowpass filter and a feedback path to drive the intensity of the tone.

Web Development

Creative Intent is about to release a new website design using the platform Webflow. In the past we have built custom websites, and then switched to the Shopify platform at the release of Tantrum. As the business scaled in size, and number of downloads, or need for affiliate marketing features there has been a bit of progression happening. Soon Creative Intent will launch on a new and very powerful new platform called Webflow, with all new capabilities.

Brand Identity

Brand Identity is essentially how a business wants to be perceived by customers. It is through brand identity design that a brand strives to communicate clearly with the target audience. Brand identity is the combined message transmitted via the brand name, logo, style and visuals. Developing software that also falls underneath this umbrella of style is another challenge that Seize Digital has been working on throughout each release of software.

Merchandise Design

Part of the new brand release and new launch of Creative Intent we will be selling new merchandise via our own online store. Seize Digital will start to ramp up apparel design once the launch takes place, and will run limited editions of merchandise to drive sales.
